Do to the nature of Black Goblin, it is possible for you to submit Games Workshop related articles for others to view on the site. Because of this, we need a set of guidelines in place for you to follow, to make it as easy as possible for me to update the site. So listen and learn!

Submission Guidelines

All submissions should be sent by email as an attachment in Microsoft Word 97-2000 (.doc) or Rich Text format (.rtf), or as a text file (.txt). Included in the email should be:
- The name of the author (pen names are allowed, but any rude or discriminative ones will not be published.
- Which category the article fits into (ie. Warhammer, Warhammer 40,000, Mordheim etc.).
- Whether the author has already written a short autobiography or if one is attached with the email. Please also say whether you would like your email address displayed on the website. If nothing is said about this, we will assume the answer is no.
- The first paragraph of each article should be a short introduction or synopsis. This allows readers to see what the article is about before reading it.
Font Style Black Goblin has a set font style used across the site, and all submissions should keep in with that style. In order to save me time uploading articles, please use the following font-types.
- Normal Body Text should be 'Verdana, size 8'.
- Colour Text or Quotations should be 'Verdana, size 8, italic'.
- Subject Headings should be 'Verdana, size 10, bold'.
- Picture Captions should be 'Verdana, size 8'.
Style of Writing All writing should be in the same style as that used by Games Workshop. ie. Not Dwarves, but Dwarfs; Eldar, not Elder. Stuff like this saves me a lot of editing time.

If everyone takes time to follow the above guideline, it will save me about an hour of work, allowing me to get more articles on the site, quicker. If articles, in a long queue do not conform to these rules, then they will be skipped to get more considerate authors' work online quicker. If you're good to me, I'll return the favour.

Images within articles Images in JPEG (.jpg), Bitmap (.bmp) and most other formats other than GIF (.gif) can be used inside articles. Just simply send the file along with the article. Note: Authors submitting in Text file format should include place markers at the point where an image should go (eg. <Image: me_on_holiday.jpg goes here>).
NO pornography or obscene content Only a reasonable amount of swearing will be allowed, otherwise your article will be edited.

It goes without saying that all articles should be related to a Games Workshop game covered on the website. Please, no hoaxes, they will not be appreciated and you will become victim to a multiple ordnance barrage of abusive emails. You have been warned!
